La Réserve Golf Links, at Heritage Golf Club, Mauritius, is the first course in the African region to be awarded GEO Certified® Development Status. Recognising developments that exemplify sustainability through fostering nature and enhancing local ecosystems, conserving resources and supporting their communities, the GEO Certified® Development status honours projects that have transparently integrated sustainability into their decision-making processes, from initial site selection through to becoming operational.

The Sustainable Tourism Mauritius Awards 2024, organized by the Tourism Authority, acknowledged our group's sustainable initiatives. Heritage Le Telfair and Le Chamarel restaurant received Silver Awards, while Le Château de Bel Ombre and Chamarel 7 Colored Earth earned Bronze accolades. Veranda Grand Baie was honored with the special "Coup de Coeur" award, highlighting our commitment to sustainable tourism practices across our establishments.

At the 2024 Environmental Awards, our group excelled: Heritage Resorts & Golf's Waste Management Division and Heritage Le Telfair secured 1st Runner-up positions in their respective categories, while Veranda Grand Baie received the Special Jury Award, affirming our commitment to sustainable tourism practices.

The Green Destinations Top 100 Stories list unveiled at the 2023 Conference in Estonia includes some of the key stakeholders, including Rogers Hospitality's awarded brands, Heritage Le Telfair and Heritage Awali, that enabled Bel Ombre to achieve this prestigious recognition.

Also, our Croisières Australes was honored with Silver in the Boat & Pleasure Craft Operator category.

Heritage Le Telfair, a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) for over a decade, has reaffirmed its sustainability commitment by joining the elite 26 hotels in SLH’s Considerate Collection, a new community of actively sustainable luxury hotels.
