Diren Poonmany, a master of welding and metalwork, has been shaping metal with passion and precision for over 30 years. Based in Roches Brunes, he founded FERKAD Company Ltd, where his craftsmanship shines through every creation. L'Atelier des Artisans encouraged Diren to push the boundaries of his art, leading him to create a stunning Christmas tree structure, specially commissioned by Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort. The project repurposed 245 used wine bottles from the Food & Beverages department, transforming them into a striking centerpiece. Collaborating closely with the In Situ team, Diren brought this unique design to life, discovering the rich story behind the creation of the metal bottle rack along the way.
